One Day...

A series of handmade ceramic enlarged bullets - The series features bullets as its central motif, creating a tension between the traditional purpose of a bullet and the message of peace and love that Yael has imbued it with. Through this series, Yael expresses a wishful dream to use bullets as a medium for carrying positive messages rather than causing harm. Each piece in the series carries a message of love, compassion, and tolerance, all of which are united under the banner of peace. In order to emphasis the message and to touch and shake the emotions of the viewers, Yael created a limited series of four bullets with portraits of four historical figures who dedicated themselves to promoting peace and non-violence: Albert Einstein as a scientist, John Lennon as a singer, Mahatma Gandhi as a spiritual leader, and Martin Luther King as a Nobel Peace Prize winner. Each bullet is unique and has its own message that is reflected on the portrait of one of these four figures that used to advocate for peace and non-violence during their lives.
